Dear sir,
I have been looking up my grandfathers record in the Worcester Regiment and i notice his name has been spelt incorrectly.

I would be very pleased if you could change this for me to read

Edwin James Reddick and not Edwin James Reddich

My grandfather served 1914 1918 as private no10759

Hi John,

Thanks for bringing it to my attention. I have changed the surname spelling to REDDICK in the Silver War Badge listing.

I checked his army number against the Medal Card and it is 10757.

Interestingly there was an incorrect spelling on his Medal Index Card in which they spelt his name as "Reddiek". However, on the same card they also stated his name was "Reddick" and that this spelling was on the Silver Medal Badge list. As a result of the confussion there is two Medal cards for him (one card mark as Temporary which has the correct spelling).

Regards,
