Can anyone out there advise? Is it possible to obtain a Death Certificate for a soldier Killed in Action?

My relative was serving in the Worcesters (1-7 Bn) in WW1 and was Killed in Action in F & F in 1916. Were Death Certificates issued in these cases and if so how does one obtain a copy?
