I have only today discovered my late father's connection with the Worcestershire Regiment. I knew that he served in the Army between the wars and, during WW2, in the RAOC and was later commissioned into the newly formed REME. However, I now have before me his Second Class Certificate of Education awarded 8 March 1921 in Fyzabad. He would have been 18 years old and, of course, in the 3rd Battalion. He was 5240845 Pte. Edward Vivash. Any leads as to whether and where I might find further information would be much appreciated.
