29th regiment of foot

Hi first time on the forum.
sorry if i am in the wrong place.
can any one help.
I am researching an ancestor of mine.

william Barugh,
he was in the 29th regiment of foot 1865-1891.
most of the time in india.
also his son thomas william barugh 1886-1914.
KIA 27 aug 1914.
joined the royal irish fusiliers as a reservist.
