Good Evening all,
I'm looking for more detail of Brigadier Hope-Thomson's career with the Royal Scots Fusiliers.
In may 1940 he was the company commander of D company 2nd Bn Royal Scots Fusiliers.
The Bn ceased to exist at the battle of the Ypres-Comines canal and I would like to know whether he was wounded and evacuated or if he had been posted to another divisional work during this time.
The reason for asking is that he was my Grandfathers company commander at the time and I would like to know more about this action.
thanks
Iain
