Hi,
My late Grandfather HHBJ Fraser was born in India in 1865. According to family history he joined the Worcestershire Regt as a Band Boy 20 Sept 1880. (Age of 10) He served in Karachee, Quetta, Poona, Kamptee and Rangoon and was finally discharged in April 1898, when he came back to UK. His history in England is fairly well known but I can't find out much about his time with the Worcs in India.

Can anyone help or give me a steer. For example could he really have joined so young?
