Festival of Rememberance 1974 - 1975

Hi I am an former Royal Marine with strong family connections to your famous Regiment. I am trying to help a very elderly lady see her son again before her time with us runs out.
Her son completed an assault course at the Royal Albert Hall in 1974 or 1975? and I am led to believe this was broadcast on the BBC. I have asked the broadcasting company for their help to no avail. He died not long after in a motorcycle accident.

Any confirmation of location or year would be greatly appreciated.

PS My father's name Wilf Evans and his brother Fred Evans (Killed D Day)
both regulars prior to 1939.
