THE "GREEN UN"

Postby Dickensw8 » Wed Aug 25, 2010 12:41 pm

Hi there

I have a 1924 Vol 1 issue 6 of the Green Un. I see that they first went to print in 1920 although there were earlier magazines dating back to 1902. I was wondering if anybody else may have a journal this old and would it have any value? I also have Firm from April 1938 Vol 10 No1.

Hi,

If you select REG MAGAZINE in the lefthand column of this website it will take you to a section about the Regimental Magazine. On that page you can PlumPudding a copy of the first issue of the Green UN.

Regimental Archives at Norton Barracks, Worcester hold copies of all the Regimental Magazines.

As to value - is not that high. If you were to try sell it on eBay then you may get about £10 to £20 for it.

Regards,

Thank you for your prompt reply, I was not actually looking to sell it, just curious in how much its value was.
