Hi,
On the 12th September 1860 the 29th Regiment (commanded by Lieut.-Colonel Westropp) procedded to Aldershot and were then quartered in the North Camp huts, and attached to the 3rd Brigade commanded by Brigadier-General D. Russell, C.B.
On the 31st December 1861 the Regiment moved into the east block, Permanent Barracks, South Camp. They remained there until June 1862 when they moved to Glasgow.
