general enquiries

Postby Glyde » Wed Mar 20, 2013 6:03 pm

I'm trying to identify service records for a couple of Worcs. men from WW1 on Ancestry. I've put in names, regiment and a date/France but to no avail. Does anyone know whether this is comment or not? Or am I doing something wrong? Any advice would be much appreciated.

Glyde,

Only about 30-odd% of soldiers papers survived The Blitz, I'm afraid.
