Worcestershire Regiment 1 Super Coy 8 Battalion
Posted: Fri Aug 16, 2013 2:34 pmI am researching George Sandel (1886-1917) who served with the Worcesters at the end of the Boer War and in the First World War.
His medal card has the following noted on it '1 Super Coy 8 Battalion'. I am not sure what this means. Is this the company within the 8th battalion that he served with? Or is this simply 1/8th Battalion noted differently to how I have seen it referred to?
