Worcestershire Regiment

Daniel Hardwick (our Gt.grandfather)born @ Wotton Under Edge, Glos. 1849, was a private in 29th foot when he married Bridget Betts (a widow) on 25/5/1873 @ Parish Church of Templemore while stationed at the barracks there. We are trying to discover where he died. They were in M'how ,India when last child Christina was born in 1880. It is possible Daniel died in Pershore ,Worcestershire in 1883 & Bridget married a William Jones (of Lancaster Regt.) there in 1884. Can anyone help us to discover if the Regiment was in Worcester at this time. We would also like to know where & when Daniel joined the Reg. & any other details of his service. We cannot trace Bridget /William after this time.
