Which Company

Can anyone tell me how i could find out which Company my late father would have been in, i have a Regiment roll about him from when i asked for a search to be done at the Worcestershire Regiment, but the re-searcher only really put the same information that i gave him and he has only put that he was in the 2nd Battalion, plus it states that he trained at the British Medical Hospital in Sialkot India in 1937, would this have been normal training for a soldier or does it mean that he could have been a medic?
Just incase it's needed his details are: Frederick Edwards, Number 5249950, Enlisted 30th Jan 1933.
