Announcement - reunion

Latest information on The First Battalion WFR on active service in Afghanistan I attended the Reunion at Worcester Rugby ground on Saturday last (02/06/07) and quite a good time was had by all . The Col of the Regiment informed us of the actions of the First Battalion in Afghanistan they have been involved in numerous fire fiights with the Taliban with thankfully no injuries they also stopped potential deaths and injuries to civilians in Tabul by stopping a suicde bomber before he could set off the bomb he was carrying there main area of action though is the infamous Helmond sector I think evryone will join us in wishing them all well ans a injury free six months. also on a lighter note the Reunion will be held again next year and for those who may wish to attend the very much unwanted Re-badgeing ceremony will take place at Tamworth Castle in September.
