Does anyone remember the late John (Jack) Lawrence Long who retired in the late 1960's and moved to Canada? I'm just trying to help my wife (Jackie) locate some information on her father. Their last post was in Gibraltar in 1968.

Hi,

Suggest you contact the Regimental Archives at Norton Barracks, Worcester. There is a link and full contact details for them on the home page of this website.

Regards,

Louis

Hello,

While my wife recalls living in Norton Barricks, I can't seem to find any information that would help us find links to her father, Bandmaster Captain John (Jack) Long. Jack was born in Lancaster and had a range of postings from Jamica to Gilbralter and a variety of UK positings. Any information or insight on how to find such would be greatly appreciated.

Regards,
Paul
