My Grandfather came from 46tr, to the worcesters, but seems to only spent 4 months with the worcesters before being transfered to the royal west surreys. Was this a common practice, would he have enlisted in to the worcesters.
His regimental No was 50919, but changed on tranfer.
I only found out about him serving in the worcesters because of faint writing on his will card. I have since found is service records, medical mainly, which confirmed he served in the worcesters.
