I am having trouble trying to find anything about my great grandad who served in the worcestershire regiment. The only infomation i have is his name and army number which is Pte H Randle and his army number 17961. I would like to find out as much information as i can

Hello Tim,

Here is a bit of information about Harry Randle.

He entered the war on 24-3-15 and was sent to France.

He served 1st in The Worcestershire Regiment 17961.
and was then posted with the Labour Corps 655483.

for more information on this Corps.

He was entitled to 1914-15 Star, The British War Medal and the Victory medal.

I cannot find his service records or pension records on ancestry, but there are some good researchers on this forum who might be able
to add more information.
