Hello Rob,
I have submitted a photo to the Forum, my first attempt at this kind of thing. So fingers crossed that Louis Scully can sort it out. I am sure I know the problem concerning your headstone but wether I can explain it. Basically the "Beleived to be" and the "Firm" are two different statements and are not connected. They just happen to be close together. There are at least 3 forms of Worcestershire Regiment headstones. The photo I hope I have submitted has the word "Firm" above the 8 pointed star, as is often the case. Immediately above that but not connected are the words "Buried near this spot". What was the name on your headstone, please? It must be a named grave because the combination of "Believed to be" and "Firm" cant happen on the grave of an Unknown soldier.
