Depot?

Postby wordsleyman » Thu Jul 31, 2008 6:34 pm

Hi,

Can anyone tell me where the "depot" for the Worcestershire Regiment was during WW1 & was this where men injured at the front worked when they returned home?

I am interested in 25484 Pte Charles H Harrison Worcestershire Regiment He served in the 14th Battalion (Severn Valley Pioneers) but was with the Depot when he died at home 8th June 1917

Any information would be great

Thanks

Mark

I am under the impression that the Depot was based at Norton Barracks, there are som references to this under Norton Bar'ks in the left hand menu.
