My Gr Uncle is listed on the Roll of Honour for the Worcestershire Regiment as having died in F and F. However, elswhere, he is listed as having died as a prisoner of war, and is commemorated in Worms Cemetery.

Could anyone please tell me if these two facts are compatible? Would someone who died as a POW usually be recorded as such on the Roll of Honour?

I would really appreciate any ideas.

If it is pte 42367, 3rd btn, date of death october 1918, he is indeed buried in Worms, Germany, but listed as as died F & F. It does not seem immediatley compatible , but perhaps someone cab give an opinion as to the listing?

He was 57413 Pte. d. F. & F. 14.10.1918 3rd, so his circumstances sound very similar.
