Lieut.-Colonel Hugh de Berdt HOVELL

Hi,
I read the article on Lieutenant-Colonel Hovell, and his enlisting under an assumed name during WWI. Is it known under what name he served in France and whether any medals were issued?

Have a look at this article, it might help to explain why there is no medal card for him.

Morning Lars,
I do not know anything of this man, sorry but he did crop up on the Forum before. If you put "Hovell" in the search box his previous will pop up.
