Information required to find a T. Lane

Postby roge the doge » Fri Nov 28, 2008 8:38 am

I am researching my family history, am looking for any information on a Private T. Lane who fought in the Regiment in the first world war returning safely. I believe he was born in Bushley in South Worcestershire to the parents of Robert and Sarah Lane. Can anyone help or point me in the right direction.
Many thanks.

Good morning,

There were Three Thomas Lanes in the Worcestershire regiment.

Thomas Lane - 11052 (Entered Balkans,22-4-15, Died of Wounds)

Thomas Lane - 16172 (Entered France, 22-9-15, Survived)

Thomas H Lane - 36614 (No information on MIC)

If he survived he must be one of Two.
If you could let us know which one he was, we might be able to
give you some more information.

Cheers
John.

At this moment in time i have no more information, his name appears on the war memorial on the side of Bushley Church, on a list of people who returned safely from the Gt. War.
