Hi, Louis, thank you very much for such a quick reply,my gd.father, William Joseph Oconnor(SGT>) lived at two ADDRESSES IN cORK, ONE WAS MADDENS bUILDINGS, AND THE OTHER WAS , MOUNT fARREN , aSSUMPTION rOAD, bLACKPOOL cORK..My family have no recollection of an address at 6,ST .Itas Tce, in newcastlewest .Co, Limerick, was this army accomodation?? His war pension was sent to one of the two addresses given above, can you tell me ifthese addresses showed up in any of his papers. William was in a british military hospital in Cork. due to the disability he sustained during the great war, I am desperate to find out about him as he was deceased when I was born, thank you for all your help louis, kathleenps, would there be a record of his pension no. and any other family details on it?? tks again kathleen
