4th Battalion at Eastbourne?

Postby Coldicott » Sat May 16, 2009 6:57 am

This should be an easy one for someone: I have a postcard written to a Gt. Uncle addressed to 4th Worcesters Regiment, E. Division Fleet 19, (then there's something like "Leer??ner") Dawn Camp, Eastbourne. Unfortunately the frank isn't clear, so I can't give a date. Can anyone tell me what the camp's name was and what the Battalion did there (or was it just a postal address?).

Thanks
