Hello James,

This site is more aimed at the Worcestershire Regiment, But here goes anyway.

1891 Census.

Civil Parish - Tything of Whistones , St Mary's

Father - Robert(B1848), Mother - Eliza(B1848, Gloucester)

According to his medal card

2230 Pte Robert Tisdale went to France on 1st April 1915.

He then joined the RAF as 14169. It doesn't say when, I only have
access to Ancestry online & they haven't got to the T's yet, so the
only way, would be a trip to KEW.

In the meantime there is a great section on this site abut Worc men in the RFC & RAF.

as for post war records you would have to contact the Veterans Services
There are fee's involved and they require proof of Kinship

www.veterans-uk.information*service_records*army.html

Replace the * with forward slash.

Cheers
