Hi All
Can anyone fill in details about movements events of 3rd Worcsters in Dec 15. Regt Hist detaisl service in and around Locre and in Billets form 18th to xmas eve. Any idea which date any reserves were drafted in around between these dates? Ask as I am researching 9529 James Bubb. later KIA March 15, but crossed to France Dec 18. Ex 1st(?)batt in SA and into special reserve and recall inSpet 14. Naturally any information on him (regt no. in SA and medal entitlement) would be appreciated.

Regards
Doc

Hi Doc,

The 3rd Battalion Worcestershire Regiment received a draft of 280 men under the charge of Sergeant Ellis on the 13th January 1915. At the time they were at Kemmel.

Hi Doc,

Ed Perry sent me the following information which may be of help regarding Boer War details - quote:

"I have a very small part of the Q.S.A. medal roll for the 1st Battalion Worcs. Regt. Listed is a 5338 PTE. J BUBB who received the medal with the clasps Cape Colony and Orange Free State. He may also have been awarded the 2 date clasps, or the K.S.A. medal, with the 2 date clasps.
Hope this helps with 'docchippys' information request."

Regards,

Louis
