I am looking for any information on the company of the 4th Worcestershires that my great uncle served with during the Third Ypres Campaign in 1917.
He was 19 years old when he was killed on 9th October 1917 when the Battalion took Namur Crossing near Langemark during the Battle for Poelcappelle. I have viewed the War Diaries at Kew and this is the action where Dancox won his VC for taking the German blockhouse at Namur Crossing, but it gives no specific names for casualties or where specifically they fell, He has a marked grave near Langemark so his body was retrieved shortly after the action rather than left in the field.
Many thanks if anyone can help
