Croix De Guerre Citation?

Postby sopranouk » Sat May 15, 2010 9:39 pm

Hello

I am looking for information about my Great Grandfather : 12590 L/Sgt George James Lang who served in the Worcestershire Reg. in WW1.

He was awarded the Croix de Guerre in 1918 which I have found in the London Gazette. We are now trying to find out what the award was for (beyond family rumour).

Is there anyway I can find a citation or more information about this? we believe he was a signaller.

Any information on him would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Tracy
