Hi looking for any information on pte f gardner 22378 as i have recently
acquired his victory medal
i have found his mic on ancestry it shows he was awarded a swb
but in the remarks on the mic
what i think is wrote died or disk? have cheaked
the cwgc and he is not there
any help would be great

I have found a reference in the 2nd June 1917 edition of the Worcester Herald.

22378 Pte F. Gardner – Birmingham - Wounded

On the MIC it says Disch which means - Discharged.
