Hi Mark,
Frederick Arthur Cowdery (46488) was only in the 15th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment for about 11 days.
He enlisted in the army on the 24th June 1916 but was not called up for service until 8th March 1917. He was posted to the 15th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment on the 20th March 1917 and was then transferred to the Royal Engineers on the 31st March 1917 and was posted to the 340th Roads Construction Company in the Royal Engineers. His army number in the Royal Engineers was 261293.
It seems he would have served in France with the 340th Roads Construction Company in the Royal Engineers.
I therefore think it better that you research his time with the Royal Engineers.
