hi

in have aquired h.c.j.shuttleworth-king war medal
have found him on seving with the 14th worcsters
and him getting wounded in battle, on this website,
found that he was Mentioned in Despatches
in the london gazette 20 may 1920 with the 9bt
i would like to know where the 9th were at this time or if any
body knows what thay were doing

The 9th Bn were disbanded on 19th December 1919, so presumably it is for an action prior to that date.
From 19th Nov 1918 to 23rd Aug 1919 the Bn was in Turkey.
I'm sure somebody with more detail will be along soon
