trying to find out why he has paperwork for the worcestershires and the souyth staffordshire,i did not know you can be in two regimemts at the same time

Hi,
Private Thos E. Hotchkiss initially served with the South Staffordshire Regiment (army number then was 24336). He was later transferred to the Worcestershire Regiment and his army number was changed to 40390. This is not uncommon.
