The information that we have according to local information, with no service record being available on-line, is that he was a sniper and that he was wounded in the jaw and taken prisoner; that latter point is borne out by the caption for him in a group of photos of serving family members in The Berrows Journal. Does anyone know of any other sources of information known that would shed light on the above and which Battalion he was in (it seems that general P O W records also are non-existent)?
