My Grandfather Lance Corporal Harold Ruffle 40365 was in the 4th Worcesters. He was wounded on 23 April 1917 at Monchy le Preux. My cousins and I are visiting Monchy le Preux in early July 2017 and would like a guide to the battlefield and wider area. Can anybody suggest anyone please. Many thanks.

Jeremy Banning...the author, is an expert in the Arras area and by arrangement will do some guiding. His book written with Peter Barton called Arras could be used as a guide for doing the area in your own time and way which I prefer. Before Endevours Fade by Rose Coombs or Major Holts guide books could also be worth looking at! Regards Colin
