i know this is a long shot but i have just red a book on the great war and its got me interested. they were both called Fredrick cowdery. as far as i know they both were in this regiment and at some thie met up in france also i was told my great grandfather got field puinshment no 1, whot ever that is, and his money was stopped.supposedly for eating when marching ?they both came from reading and both came home hope somebody could shed some light on this regards mark...
