Harry Vernon Cockbill is listed on the war graves commission website as a member of the 10th battalion the Royal Warwickshire Regiment which may explain why you can't find any information on him on this site for the Worcestershire Regiment...

You can find his medal index card here ERROR://www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/docu ... ultcount=4

Another good site to try is www.ancestry.co.uk

Actually I found one link with the Worcesters, in that the 10th Warwicks were brigaded with the 10th Worcesters (57th brigade, 19th division) in 1918. If not totally out of the topic of this excellent forum perhaps someone knows what the brigade was up to on or about april 10th 1918? I have to confess I have not yet got around to get me a Stacke so unable to help out
