hi there,
i am undertaking some research & the above named soldier has cropped up in my study.

I am interested in hearing from anyone who knew Gordon Ollier late 7th Battn who was killed in action 14th April 1944.I assume from his DOD that he was involved in the battle of Kohima & would be most interested in hearing from anyone who knew him & extremely greatful to anyone who can provide a picture of him.

i have just found this message and hope its not too late .gordon ollier was my granfather, he was killed leaving a wife edith and a 12 year old daughter margaret.i am curious why his name is of intrest to you?i have photos etc
