Location of Wocester personnel in UK 1944/5

Hi There,

Can you give any information on the where abouts of some Worcester personnel, serving in UK during 1944/5. I'm particularly interested in service in facilities in North Wales such as Prisoner of War Camps, Repatriation camps, joint service with North or South Staffordshire Regiments. Do these units mean anything to you or your records :
No 5 Inf Depot
23 Holding Battalion
23 I.T.C.
Could these units be something to do with units located in North Wales near Wrexham for example.
I'm curious because these are all untis that my late Father - Capt James Frederick Purdy was posted to from 7th Feb 1944 until 1945. He had returned from the Middle East
I remember him coming home in 1944 to us living in Reading. I was 10 years old at the time. Then we moved to North Wales and lived there unti 1945. He was based at 'Plas Teg near Wrexham, an establishment shared with the Staffordshire Regiment.
Look forward to your response.
