Hi,

Private Stanley Hadlington was born at Dudley in 1914.

As far as I am aware he died of wounds he received during the fighting at Tripsrath, Germany (during Operation Clipper) on the 19th November 1944. He was taken to a hospital in Sittard for treatment. See the section on this website about "The battle for Tripsrath".

He married Edith Irenie Auden in 1939 at Stourbridge, Worcestershire. She died in 1980 at Stourbridge.
