Do you have any records for the following

John Benjamin Wathen

Enlisted 27th May 1902 at Dudley

Service No. 5239040

rising to rank of Colour Sgt ( cqms)

Discharged 7th April 1924

we know that he spent some time in india but have no specific dates

any help would be appreciated

Hi,

As far as I am aware he was a Colour Sergeant with the Worcestershire Regiment in the First World War at the time his army number was 7036.

The 1st Battalion Worcestershire Regiment were in India from 1919 to 1926.
