Seeking two Halls

Not sure if you can help as the information I have is scanty and doesn't include numbers.

William Hall was born in about 1843 in Exeter and was stationed with the 29th in North Camp according to the 1861 census. He was in the married quarters with sons William and John and Kathleen (nee Floody) in 1881. He was dead by 1904 and I suspect he left the regiment a little time before that.

Patrick Hall was his son. I would guess he was born after 1882. We were told he served in the Worcestershire regiment and survived the Great War (possibly even being buried for days in a shell cavity). He may have been a drummer boy. One of the stories we heard was of the new drummer boys pouring blood out of their boots after a days marching from where the drum had rubbed their leg raw.

Not a lot to go on, I know. But you might be able to work some magic.
