John Watson, Pte. Reg No. 9810

This is the information I've gleaned from John's medal card. I would like to know more. I've tried both pension and service records without success. When he married in 1915, he is listed as being in the Worcester Reg, 6th Bat.
Any and all suggestions where I can go next would be most appreciated. I live in Canada, so trips to Kew are out of the question.
