I have a medal set of Pte W Curson Worc Regt, Boer War, WW1 x3, also LSGC.
Can anyone tell me what Battalion Company Unit he served in.
The Medals belonged to Mr M Ball Esq. I discover the Medals In Sicily. Totally original.
I may donate to Worc or the RLC. Pte Curson re badged to AOO/RAOC. RLC has a medal collect. Main interest is to find the family link between Mr Ball and Pte Curson. Can anyone advise.

Alan,

What are the Service Numbers engraved on the rims of the medals?

Alan,

His WW1 medal card shows the following:
Armour Staff Sergeant John W. Curson (A/1112) with the R.A.O.C.
He landed in France on the 13th October 1914.

If you would like the Worcestershire Regimental Archives to search their records for any details they may have with his time with the Worcestershire Regiment in the Boer War, then you will find their contact details on the home page of this website.

Regards,

Louis
