I am researching family history of Christopher Hulston, Worcestershire 4th. Battalion, Private No:20131. Killed in Gallipoli.
I would like to know more of the 4th. and Gallipoli. Could you recommend suitable reading and where I could get more information of Christophers records? Do you have a record search dept.?
Thank you
Joan Harrison.

Hi Joan,

You will find details of the 4th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment at Gallipoli on this website in the HISTORY section. On the top row select the HISTORY tab and then on the drop-down list select GALLIPOLI.

Also on the home page of the website look for the section on "GALLIPOLI 1915 - Private Ben Wards Story" if you then click there you will get a first hand account of a soldier of the 4th Battalion at Gallipoli.

Private Chistopher Hulston (20131) enlisted in the Worcestershire Regiment at Halesowen. He entered the theatre of war in the Balkans (Gallipoli) on the 7th June 1915 and was killed in action just 2 weeks later on the 19th June 1915.

Hope this helps.
