Hi Zena,
2500 PTE.WILLIAM CROWTHER BORN DROITWICH 1870 TRADE BOATMAN.
Enlisted into the Worcestershire Regiment 6/8/1889. Previous service in the 4th.(Militia)Batt. Worcesters.
He served in both the 2nd and 1st Batts.of the Regular Worcesters.
When the Boer War began he was recalled from the Army Reserve and served in S.Africa with the 1st Batt.
Award both Queens and Kings S.Africa Medals.He returned tc civilian life post war.
