I am looking for information on a Henry Mcdonald who was killed in Gallipoli, on 6 August 1915, he was a private 21806 in the 4th Bn, Worcestershire Regiment. Any information on Henry or how he came to be in the Worcester Regiment would be gratefully received. Henry was my grandfather and I know that he was a solider in 1901 as shown on the 1901 census. Regards Hilary

I am not researching Henry but whilst doing my own research for
WOII Joseph Henry Cooper 4th Bn 1915- 1916 I can tell you the medal card for Henry McDonald is online at National Archives Catalogue ref WO 372/12 and the image number if you wish to pay to PlumPudding is 215926/56406.
Good Luck.
