I am trying to find out what happened to the 2nd Battalion after Gheluvelt. I am particularly interested in any future action which may have lead to members of the 2 nd Battalion who saw action at Gheluvelt being exposed to gas attacks.

Hi, my grandfather was in the 2nd at Gheluvelt, and he went through untill 1916 when he was exposed to mustard gas and was discharged thereafter.
Hence the reason im here today.

Chris, do you know where he was gassed? Also do you know if he was in an hospital in the UK?

I will have to look at war diary entries, as to where he was, he never talked about his war exploits, not even to my father and uncles.
All i have found out has been from on-line enquiries
but it was wherever the 2nd was in 1916
