Hi Louis,

Pte. Benjamin Price served in the Worcester Regiment in WW1 but I have been unable to trace a record anywhere of his service. His Victory Medal includes the number 14552.
Have you any record please?

Regards
Ap Rhys

Allan,

Big thanks. A step further. His brother Pte William Price 6147 also of the 4th Battalion may be mentioned in the Worcester Herald also, wounded Cape Helles August 1915 . I hadn't found either to date.

Thanks,
Ap Rhys

If he served in the Guards, would they possibly have a copy of his service records?
Researching the 75 men of the Great War Memorial of St Anne's Church, Bewdley, Worcestershire .

Hi,

Can soemone clarify for me please whether the 2nd Battalion (2B note on a MIC) served at Gallipoli, and if not whether if a soldier was on detachment to another Battalion say 4th, his MIC card would normally show it?

(Thanks also Simon (01/06/12) for CSG suggestion)

Regards
Ap Rhys
