Hi,
Is there information available please on any activity of "The Comrades of the Great War" in Worcester prior to the formation of the British Legion in 1921?

Hi

I have my Grandfather Lewis Rogers Membership certificate to Comrades of the Great War which is a work of art in its own right. It appears from the details there that he enrolled at the Droitwich Branch on 21st April 1919 with number 221 and it is signed by a Captain E Harrison. I can scan a copy if you are interested.

Hi Mark,

Thanks. My grandfather (4th Battalion) was apparently very involved with the CofTGW (and the British Legion subsequently) and presented with a clock by the former on his move away from Worcester in 1921. I should like to see the membership certificate scan. How do we do that?
