Private Frederick White (12971) - 4th
Battalion Worcestershire Regiment
He went with the 4th Battalion Worcestershire Regiment to Gallipoli
landing there on the 25th April 1915.
The 4th Battalion later moved to France on the 20th March 1916.
Private Fred White was wounded and returned home unfit for service.
He was discharged from the army and awarded the Silver War Badge.
Died as a result of his wounds 28th October 1917 (age 28), buried in a war
grave at St. Nicholas, Hurst.
Son of Mrs. Alice Jane White, of Gloster Cottage, Hurst, Berkshire.
